A very high level of craftsmanship is needed to produce a book using Matsusaka momen (Cotton).
Only a few craftsmen have the skill to weave the solid indigo fabric and still fewer have the skill to produce it into a book. We have finally gathered the craftsmen and have been able to produce such a book.
The ever so slight striping and earthy smell of the indigo cloth brings out the beauty of the book.
We felt the cover was so beautiful that lettering would only detract from it. |

Each page represents ten years of the same date. Therefore every year you will automatically view what happened on that day over all of the previous years.

The pages are printed simply with only the date and horizontal rulings. The simple design allows you freedom to use the book however you like. Adding days dates or even the weather as you see fit.
We have used thick high grade paper which allows the use of not only pencils And ball point pens but also fountain pens without retro flexion or running. The slight grey coloring to the paper allows one to look at it for a long time Without tiring ones eyes. |
